Quickie post about our week...

 These are in the shop now :)  Fun little crochet covered rocks!

Ellie has been trying to help me test out old cameras to see if they work or not.  She would be a lot better at this is she actually looked through the viewfinder.  But darn if she isn't just the cutest little thing!

 Speaking of old cameras to test...here is the next one to try out.  And one of the rocks halfway done.  

 This is what I made for breakfast this morning...a apple crisp pizza.  Super yummy...although not quite as good as the one we had at Coburg Pizza Co. on Mother's Day...I still need to work on it!

 All of our rhododendrons are blooming out front!  They make out house look so cheerful.  I love it.

 Here is another one of my shots from New York.  This was at the Met.  I haven't even really begun to look through all my digital stuff.  I have a few on flickr but I will keep adding to the set when I have time.  

 I finally made this little graphic.  A visual for the easiest cupcake recipe ever.  Mix one boxed cake mix and one can of soda...any kind of either and bake at 350˚ for 18-24 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.  That is it.  Don't add egg, oil, water or milk...just cake mix and soda.  So easy a 5 year old can do it!

 Ooooh I got to test out a new/old camera for a friend of mine.  I love it so much that I bid on one (or 4) on eBay!  If I win them all you know what will be in my shop next week!  It really is a spiffy little camera.  I like it a lot!  Take a look at the photos that came from the test roll.

And finally, Brad and I went out on a date yesterday and saw the Avengers.  Ellie thought it was sooooo cool that her Mommy and Daddy were going on a date!  It was funny...she kept saying OooohhhhoooOOoohhh and making kissing noises.  Too funny!  Anyway...this is the shirt I wore out, Ellie thought it was awesome because this is my "favorite shirt that she bought me for my birthday!"  Really I do love it.  I think it is funny that this is what she picked out as my birthday gift.  

More webcam fun!!!

Some day you all get sick of seeing the millions of photos the girls and I take with the webcam...but I don't care.  This is stinkin' fun!

Getty Sale #1!

I just made my first Getty sale!  Very cool.  On the statement it says the buyer was Samsung Electronics.  Very cool.  Cade will be a very happy girl when she hears the news!  I was!  Check out all of my photos on Getty here.

A little love...

Emily got a Yo Gabba Gabba shirt on Saturday and has worn it every day since.  Brad had to take it off of her this morning kicking and screaming just so he could wash it in the sink and dry it.  She put it back on when it was dry enough to wear.  I think we might have to go get another one.  Move over Teddy...there is a new favorite in town (OK...not quite...)

Also, dinner was really yummy...I just wanted to share.  Yummo!

We told Ellie about getting her own room downstairs.  She is so excited!  We also told her she could decorate it anyway she would like.  She choose Spiderman with pink flowers.  Here is her ceiling today.  She loves it.  You should see her face!  Now...I'm on the lookout for an easy way to do pink flowers...

Ellie gets a new room

We told Ellie she is getting her own room.  She is so excited!  We also told her she could decorate it anyway she would like.  She choose Spiderman with pink flowers.  That’s my five year old :)


The big plan is to empty out the long closet upstairs, and I mean long.  It is 2 feet deep by about 18 long. We will leave some of it as storage but make the front part into a "Craft Closet" of sorts.  The downstairs guest room/crafting black hole will become Ellie's room.  Emily's room will get a bit of a make over as well.  We are still working on all of the hows and what is going where but it will be all done by the end of summer.  


Along with the Bedroom swapping we would like to get the floor put in the kitchen and rearrange the family room a bit as well.
